Book of Romans - A Particular “Romans Road”
Jesus—the Jesus of the Bible–is the only way, not by religion or by works. We don’t win souls, Jesus does; we can only introduce people to Jesus. 17:20-18:53 & 21:32-22:03 You want Jesus or you want your sins. You can’t have both. A repentant heart before God means you don’t want ANY of your sins, to be free from them ALL, with all your heart, mind, and strength. To hold onto even one sin, that’s enough to separate you from God for eternity, just as Satan was separated by His pride, and as the rich young ruler by his love of money. Even Adam was kicked out of the Garden of Eden for a single sin. 19:07-19:53-20:50 Confession of sin is not repentance. Being sorry for your sin is not even repentance. Repentance is turning from all sin with full and committal intent toward righteousness.
God is more concerned with the intent of the heart than the actions of the body. Your works will not save you.
18:55 Romans 2:4 The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance.
29:00 Romans 2:15-16 “If your gospel doesn’t bring people to judgment, you don’t have the right gospel.”
36:34 Salvation from sins is only half of it; the second half is being made righteous in God, new creatures, as the temple of the Holy Ghost.
39:18-41:01 You must be willing to change and be made righteous, having no intent to sin again. “That’s just the way I am; you’re gonna have to take me or leave me.” Jesus will leave you. He’ll take every sinner just as you are, unless you don’t want to change (repentance). Because He has no intent to leave you the way you are. You’re not ready unless you come humbly, broken, sinner, guilty, worthy of death, without excuse,...
44:42-47:02 If you’re truly saved, then you know it, having met Jesus, being in you and experiencing Him. No one else can tell you if you’re saved. You are only saved when you believe it. It is only through the scriptures that we can come to know this truth.
Of particular note:
- Recognize you are guilty of sins and worthy of death.
- Turn from ALL sins.
- Be willing to wholly change and be made righteous unto God
We've decided to include here this audio message by Evangelist & Missionary Michael Thurmond, which discusses true salvation, a concept lost on the "modern" church and on many who profess Christianity but whose lives paint a different picture.

The Means
Your personal walk with Jesus Christ begins by simply asking him: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I deserve to go to Hell, but I believe that you died to take away my sin. I now want to turn away from that sin to live a life in you. Please come into my heart and save me. I am trusting you to take me to Heaven when I die and help me to live my life for you. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen If you believe in the above words and have honestly spoken them aloud, asking Jesus to come into your heart and truly desiring to turn away from all sin to follow Him, will you let us know, by emailing Pastor Jones at the email link or through the form submission below? We would like to pray for you as you embark on your new life and answer any questions you may have. |
